ANA BEIJ

Terms

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms cover my websites (anabeij.com, ekphrasis.anabeij.com and workshops.anabeij.com) and the online workshops I sell there. By using the sites or buying a workshop, you agree to them. I've tried to write them plainly. If something isn't clear, write to me at ana@anabeij.com.

"I" and "me" mean Ana Beij, an artist based in Austin, Texas. "You" means you.

Online workshops

What you get. When you buy a recorded workshop such as Ekphrasis, you get personal access to its video lessons, its workbook and anything else listed on its page.

How long. Your access lasts for as long as I offer the workshop. There's no subscription and no expiry date. If I ever retire a workshop, I'll email you first and give you time to download the workbook.

Price and payment. Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax or VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe. For workshops, Link (a Stripe service) is the seller of record, and its terms apply to the payment itself. Your card statement may show LINK.COM with my name.

Refunds. If a workshop isn't right for you, email me within 14 days of buying and I'll refund you in full. You don't need to explain. Refunds go back to your original payment method and usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days. Once a refund goes through, access to that workshop ends. If the law where you live gives you a longer cooling-off period, you keep that right too.

Your access is personal. Please don't share your sign-in, or copy, record, download (apart from the workbook), resell or publicly post the lessons. If access is being shared or misused, I may end it, and I'll write to you first when I can.

Live workshops and retreats have their own details and terms, which I'll give you when you book. These terms apply to them wherever those don't say otherwise.

What you make is yours

Everything you create during a workshop, your collages, your writing and your notes, belongs to you. I'll never use your work or your words without asking you first.

My work is mine

The videos, workbook, texts, photographs, artwork and design of my sites belong to me, or to the artists and partners I credit, and are protected by copyright. You're welcome to use them for your own personal creative practice. Please ask me before using them anywhere else. Public domain artworks shown in my workshops remain in the public domain.

A creative practice, not therapy

My workshops can bring up feelings and memories. They are a creative practice, not therapy or medical advice, and they're not a substitute for professional care. Take breaks, go at your own pace, and reach out to a professional if you need support.

Materials and safety

My workshops use ordinary art supplies such as scissors, glue and paper. Please use them with care and keep them away from small children. You're responsible for your own space and materials.

Using my sites

Please don't misuse my sites: no hacking, scraping, spam, or anything illegal or harmful. I work to keep the sites and lessons available, but I can't promise they'll never be interrupted. Links to other sites are there for your convenience, and I'm not responsible for what's on them.

Limits on liability

I offer my sites and workshops in good faith and as they are. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or unexpected losses, and my total liability to you for anything related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits any rights you have by law that can't be limited.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes will never take away access you've already paid for.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. If we ever disagree about something, please write to me first. Most things can be sorted out with a conversation.
